Privacy Policy

Mori is a private household assistant. It helps the members of a household keep track of tasks, trips, reminders, and the things they choose to share with it. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.
Information we collect
- Account & household: your name, email, and the household you belong to.
- Content you give Mori: tasks, notes, trips, reminders, and anything you forward, upload, type, speak, or text to Mori (including emails, photos, documents, and voice recordings).
- Phone number (SMS): if you enable texting, the phone number(s) added to your household and the messages exchanged with Mori.
- Basic technical data: standard logs needed to run and secure the service.
How we use it
Only to operate the assistant for you and your household — to understand what you send, create and organize tasks, reminders, and itineraries, answer your questions, and send you the messages and reminders you ask for. We do not use your content to advertise to you or to anyone else.
SMS messaging
- Texting is opt-in: a number receives messages only after the household account owner adds and verifies it. Mori is not a marketing or bulk-messaging service.
- Messages are limited to your household's own activity — reminders you set, confirmations you forward in, and Mori's replies to your requests. Frequency varies with your use (it's conversational).
- Reply STOP at any time to opt out; reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
- Your mobile information is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in and consent are not shared with anyone.
Service providers
We use a few trusted processors purely to run Mori, under their own security and privacy terms — for example Supabase (secure data storage), OpenAI (to understand your text, voice, and documents), Twilio (to deliver SMS), and our email provider (to receive forwarded mail). They process your data only to provide their service to Mori, not for their own purposes.
Retention & your choices
Your content stays until you delete it or close your account. You can edit or remove tasks, notes, memories, and attachments in the app, remove a phone number to stop texting, and request deletion of your account and data. Reach us at support@moriassist.com.
