Messaging (SMS) Policy

Mori (moriassist.com) is a private household assistant. This page explains exactly how texting with Mori works — the messages we send, how a person opts in, and how to stop — so it can be reviewed without signing in.

Who sends the messages

Messages come from Mori, operated by Charles Tucker Cottingham. They are transactional and non-marketing: a household's own reminders, confirmations that something was saved, and Mori's replies to messages the user sends. Mori never sends promotional or bulk messages and never uses purchased lists.

What we send (examples)

Message frequency varies with your use (it’s conversational). Message and data rates may apply.

How you opt in

Opt-in is self-initiated by the household account holder, inside the Mori web app, in this exact flow:

  1. Sign in to Mori at moriassist.com.
  2. Open Settings → Who’s in your household and choose Add phone for your own member row.
  3. Enter your mobile number and check the consent box (it is unchecked by default and optional — Mori works fully without texting):

Saving stores the number for your household. Consent is per-user and self-initiated; a number can be added only by the signed-in account holder for their own household. No third party can enroll a number, and consent is never required to use Mori.

Opt out or get help

Reply STOP (or CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE, STOPALL) at any time to stop all messages. Reply HELP (or INFO) for help. You can also remove your number in Settings.

Privacy

Your mobile information is never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in and consent are not shared with anyone. See our Privacy Policy for details.
